Should You Buy A House / Investment Property In 2019
With the housing market in 2019 looking to be softer, the question is now a good time to buy a house or investment property? With the market already shifting into a buyers market, it looks like 2019 will continue that trend giving first time buyers and investors more choices when looking to purchase. The main factor will be supply, which has been increasing giving more options to buyers right now. Nonetheless, on the other side of the coin, interest rates are expected to go up so even if home prices stay the same or slightly come down, they could end up costing the same to buyers as far as their mortgage payment goes. Lastly, I also discuss how this slowdown in real estate isn’t really a real estate crash and is hard to compare to the latest housing bubble. Prices are expected to not go up as much, not come down and the market isn’t that overleveraged. I go over all this, but regardless, would love to hear your thoughts and if you need any help let us know!
